The Ark Lodge is set in the Aberdare National park, 25 km from Nyeri town. It is part of Marasa Africa which owns the Mara Leisure Camp and the Aberdare Country Club.
It is set in a way that it overlooks a watering hole and salt lick that attracts a wide variety of wildlife. To give the greatest view of wildlife, there are 4 viewing points.

Booking Advice at the Ark Lodge
All these activities attract additional charges. The park entry fee is charged by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS).
Children below 2 years are free to stay without extra charges while children under 12 years pay KES 5,900($59) per night for the extra beds.

It is required to pay through a bank transfer before the arrival of which you will be given more instructions.
The cancellation policy depends on the accommodation type.
Upon arrival, please note that only a bag pack is allowed where excess luggage is stored at the reception of Aberdare Country Club-the Sister property. It is also where guests have their lunch and then transferred to the Ark Lodge for Dinner, overnight and breakfast.
Guests are expected to show a photo identifying them and Credit Card upon check-in.
