Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (Also known as Lewa Downs) is set in Northern Kenya on the foothills of Mount Kenya.
It serves as a model and a catalyst for the conservation of wildlife and is achieved through the management and protection of species. Lewa conservancy also supports community conservation programmes and educating the neighbouring communities on the value of wildlife.

Lewa Conservancy provides a safe refuge for the rare and endangered Black Rhino and the Grevy’s Zebra. It also provides a home to the Elephant, Buffalo, Cheetah, White Rhino, Giraffe, Lion, and the Wild Dog.

How to get there
By Air-There are direct flights from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Lewa Conservancy offered by SafariLink or Air Kenya. Lewa Airstrip also allows private or chartered planes to land and deliver travellers.
By Road-You can use Thika Road to Karatina. Then from Karatina, head to Tiamu through Nanyuki and head as if going to Isiolo. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is close to the Meru-Isiolo junction about 3 km away.
